Father, Worker, Warrior...
And by warrior, I mean a studying-beast -- trying to defeat this upcoming bar examination. This blog has now been linked up with my tumblr. jova.tumblr.com.

BarBri, Bar Exam Registration and many other tasks
First of all, Happy Thanksgiving!
I need to sign up for BarBri and the Feb 2009 Bar Exam this week. My parents have been generous enough to offer picking up the costs of BarBri and signing up for the California Bar.
I've been following the BarBri paced program from this past summer, as a refresher before getting back into the swing of things with BarBri. I really want to be as prepared as I possibly can for the exam.
Although I was within 3 scaled points of passing July 2008's bar, I want to push harder and be as far ahead of 1440 (the passing score) as I can be.
In the meantime, I'm stressed beyond belief. The Mrs., the baby and I have to move out of here and move in with her folks so I can be afforded more time to study so I can perform very well on this exam. There is no way I can work as much as I have been and effectively study for the California Bar. That might sound selfish, but it's actually very selfless. I'm doing this so I can better provide for my family than I currently am. Anyway, back to Torts.
Please people, if you ever feel like you're losing some steam, just think of those 3 points!

To do list
My Parents were generous enough to assume the costs of re-enrolling me in BarBri and signing me up for the February 2009 bar. Very very nice. I'm not going to put off studying until then though. I'm eager to do as well as I possibly can, especially considering how close I was to passing the July 2008 bar. 3 scaled points!
So here is what has to be done:
1) Get contract work done for the several attorneys I'm doing work for.
2) Figure out the employment situation as I go into bar study mode.
3) Study study study.
4) Sign up for the February 2009 bar.
5) Sign up for BarBri
6) Take care of a lot of crap at home [another to-do list].

Waste no time
I've already opened up my Conviser mini review. Time to get crack-a-lacking on getting into shape so I can slay the dragon come February. A lot of work has to be done.
Take advantage of the ample time...
I've pretty much incorporated the BarBri Paced Program into the time I have between now and the dates the February exam will be administered. Let's make this happen!
My bar exam failure induced heartbreak into the one I love. I can't let that ever happen again.
I need to get some rest. I'll provide a brief bio in the near future for those who are interested.

It all began with...
I'm going to put my money on #1 after ruling out 2-4.
The information that you have entered does not match with a name on the pass list. This may have occurred because:
1) the applicant was not successful on the examination,
2) the numbers you entered are incorrect,
3) a registration number was entered instead of a file number, or
4) the person did not take the examination.
I now have to wait for the bar to mail me my exam.
